How It Works

1

Advanced Clinical Training

2

Live Mentoring (2×/week)

Clinical roundtables with your Mentorship Leads and cohort peers — working real client cases, not just studying them — plus community webinars and office hours.

3

NANP-Approved Functional Nutrition Training Program

Obtain the 500 required contact hours to earn the BCHN®, the 40 NANP-approved CEUs to retain the credential for 2 years, and access our full NANP BCHN® exam prep course.

4

Professional Development

Grow your practice, optimize your LinkedIn, resume, and professional tools, and connect with our employer partners.

The Cohort Model

You move through this with a cohort.

Members start together in quarterly cohorts and work through the program as a group — a structured twelve-month pace with monthly objectives, small group work, and weekly milestones, plus the flexibility to get ahead or catch up when life happens. Plan for roughly 5–8 hours per week to stay on track.

Accountability that keeps you moving

Monthly objectives and weekly milestones mean you always know what's next — and your Mentorship Leads notice when you go quiet.

Peers at the same stage

Everyone starts on the same day and hits the same milestones together, so the cases you bring to a call are the ones your cohort is working through too.

Small by design

Each cohort is capped so live sessions stay conversational and you get real time on your own client questions.

Structure with room for real life

The pace is set, but the curriculum stays open — move ahead when you have momentum, catch up when a week gets away from you.

Your Mentors

Meet your Clinical Mentorship Leads.

Both Sam and Leandra completed this program themselves, built sustainable careers in holistic nutrition, and have been exactly where you are. They're also both currently pursuing their Master of Science in Clinical Nutrition and the Certified Nutrition Specialist® (CNS®) credential — so they bring advanced clinical training alongside firsthand experience of the path you're on.

Program FAQs

Answers to the questions we hear most often from practitioners exploring the Mentorship Program.

Do I need prior clinical experience to enroll?

+

The Mentorship Program is designed for practitioners with a nutrition, health coaching, or integrative health certification. Many members are already seeing clients, but that's not a requirement — the program meets you where you are and builds from there. If you're unsure whether it's the right fit, say so in your application — we'll tell you honestly.

How much time does the program require each week?

+

With two live mentoring sessions each week plus curriculum work, plan on roughly 5–8 hours per week to stay on pace with your cohort. All sessions are recorded, so the program flexes around a working practitioner's schedule.

What credentials can I earn?

+

The program includes full preparation for the BCHN® (Board Certified in Holistic Nutrition) credential exam — including the 500 required contact hours and 40 NANP-approved CEUs to earn and maintain the credential. We will confirm all credential specifics with you directly, as requirements may vary.

Are the mentoring sessions recorded if I miss one?

+

Yes — all live mentoring sessions are recorded and available in the member portal. We do encourage attending live when possible, as the interactive case discussions and real-time Q&A are a significant part of the learning experience.

How is this different from an online nutrition course?

+

A mentorship is structured, supervised clinical training — not passive content consumption. You apply knowledge in real practice settings, receive expert mentorship, work through live case studies, and develop the career infrastructure to actually build a practice. School teaches you what to know. A mentorship teaches you how to practice.

Are payment plans available?

+

Yes, payment plans are available. We walk through the full investment and payment options once we've reviewed your application and talked through fit. There are no contracts — we want you to join because the program is right for you, not because you're locked in.
